Opportunity Overview:

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Inpatient Gastroenterology team at AdventHealth Waterman.

Our gastroenterology network is aligned with the AdventHealth Digestive Health Institute, providing multidisciplinary, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of digestive diseases. This opportunity offers a collaborative team environment, strong physician support, and the stability of working within one of the nation’s leading faith-based health systems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide inpatient care and consultations for GI patients at AdventHealth Waterman
  • Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and manage acute gastrointestinal conditions
  • Participate in daily patient rounding, discharge planning, and transitions of care
  • Serve as a clinical liaison within the inpatient GI service line
  • Contribute to quality improvement and performance initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Board-Certified APRN (FNP or AGNP)
  • Active Florida license or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior inpatient experience preferred (GI or hospitalist experience a plus)
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
  • Collaborative team player with a patient-first mindset
  • Comfortable working independently within a hospital-based environment
