About AdventHealth Daytona Beach

At AdventHealth Daytona Beach, we provide whole-person care in a supportive, faith-based environment. Our Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment caring for patients after advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our dynamic team.

Position Highlights:

  • Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, day shifts only (6a–6p) for excellent work-life balance.
  • Manage post-operative cardiac patients including CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO/Impella)
  • Perform assessments, order/interp diagnostics, and develop treatment plans for critically ill patients.
  • Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Procedures may include central line placement, arterial line placement, intubation, dialysis line placement, and other bedside interventions (as credentialed).

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Current Florida license (or ability to obtain)
  • National board certification (ACNP preferred for NPs)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of CVICU, cardiothoracic, or critical care APP experience preferred (strong ICU background considered)
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
