Position Overview
AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA-C) to join the inpatient medicine team at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida.
This full-time Nocturnist opportunity is ideal for an APP who enjoys inpatient medicine, acute clinical decision-making, and working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
Position Highlights
- 7-on / 7-off schedule
- 7:00 PM–7:00 AM night shifts
- Hospital-based inpatient medicine
- Collaborative, team-based practice environment
- Care for hospitalized patients across a broad range of medical conditions
- Support of AdventHealth Medical Group and an integrated health system
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide overnight care for patients on the hospitalist service
- Support hospital admissions and inpatient management
- Participate in acute clinical assessment and decision-making
- Coordinate care with hospitalist physicians, specialists, nursing, and multidisciplinary team members
- Support patient-centered plans of care and continuity of inpatient care

Job Requirements
- APRN or PA-C
- Board Certified in applicable certification
- Hospitalist or inpatient experience preferred
- Eligible for Florida licensure
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered inpatient care
