AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing inpatient cardiology team serving AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway. Opportunity Highlights

  • Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Inpatient-only cardiology practice
  • Collaborative physician and APP team environment
  • Participate in shared call responsibilities
  • Travel between AdventHealth Palm Coast and AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway
  • Paid mileage reimbursement for travel between facilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular evaluations and assessments
  • Manage patients with a wide range of acute and chronic cardiac conditions
  • Round daily with cardiologists and collaborate on treatment plans
  • Perform admissions, consultations, follow-up visits, and discharge management
  • Coordinate care with nursing staff, hospitalists, specialists, case management, and ancillary services
  • Review and interpret diagnostic testing including ECGs, laboratory results, imaging studies, and cardiac procedures within scope of practice
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Ensure timely documentation and support quality and patient satisfaction initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current Florida licensure or eligibility for Florida licensure
  • National certification as an NP or PA
  • Cardiology, hospital medicine, critical care, or inpatient experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
