Physician - Critical Care Anesthesiologist

Join our growing tertiary care center as we expand our cardiovascular intensive care program.

This position involves approximately 60% clinical time in Critical Care Medicine and the remaining time in anesthesiology.

At AdventHealth Medical Group, we employ an interprofessional care model covering 14 Cardiovascular ICU beds, treating patients across the spectrum of cardiovascular surgical disciplines, including:

  • Cardiothoracic Surgery

Our Cardiovascular ICU is renowned for its high acuity and complex patient cohort, evidenced by our 3-star Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) rating.

The Anesthesia department operates primarily under a medically directed model, with a small percentage of solo cases. We provide coverage for 26 anesthetizing locations, including high-volume referral center cardiothoracic anesthesia, structural heart program, vascular surgery, general surgery, neurosurgery, regional blocks, orthopedics, and low-risk OB.

AdventHealth Daytona Beach in collaboration with AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join an established Cardiology practice of 30 years, beachside on the beautiful east coast of Florida.

The cardiologists at AdventHealth Medical Group collaborate in a connected system of care backed by the expertise of the AdventHealth Heart Lung and Vascular Institute. Physician will join a multidisciplinary care team which includes access to dedicated CV surgery, EP, Cath labs, state of the art facilities, and medical and surgical specialists to provide patients the very best in care.

The Interventional Cardiologist will practice at one office location and the primary hospital location we will be based at AdventHealth Daytona Beach.

This practice is seeking a physician who has a passion for clinical excellence, compassion patient care, always placing the patient first. This physician should be willing to build a patient base within the local community. Strong referral base and access to supporting specialists would allow a physician to build a robust patient base quickly.

This role is focused exclusively on cardiac critical care and offers the opportunity to care for complex cardiovascular patients across our advanced cardiac programs.

Job Description

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is partnering with AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway and is excited to announce the opening of our new state-of-the-art 100-bed hospital at Palm Coast Parkway in Flagler County (just minutes from the beach). We are now actively recruiting for a full-time Gastroenterologist within an established market, partnering with existing AHMG Gastroenterologists to support expansion driven by programmatic growth.

Our GI practice currently consists of four (4) physicians and multiple Advanced Practice Providers.

The two hospitals and clinics our group covers are located a short drive from one another and are easily accessible from the highway, allowing the flexibility to live locally or commute from neighboring cities.
